Clean Regularly

Dust and vacuum regularly to get rid of dust particles. Use a lint-free cloth dampened with warm water or a small mix of soap, following the grain of the wood, to remove stains and heavier messes.

Remove Residues

Residues from cooking oils, grease, or smoke are to be expected, but wipe them up promptly with a damp cloth and a small amount of furniture cleaner. Dry immediately with a soft cloth.

Deal With Spills

Messes happen! Wipe up spills, splatters, and water spots as they occur, and make sure the cabinets are kept dry at all times.

Know What to Avoid

Know What to Avoid

Avoid using dish cloths, sponges, scouring pads, and steel wool, as well as abrasive cleaners like bleach, ammonia, powdered cleaner, paint thinners, or petroleum solvents. You can also skip the wax, as it builds up over time.

05.

Keep Them Clear

Don’t drape dish towels over the cabinet doors or place kitchen appliances in spots where heat might be directed onto cabinet surfaces. Heat and moisture are the enemies of wood cabinet doors!
